Error codeCL, Cd
ApplianceDishwasher
If the display on an Electrolux dishwasher reads CL or Cd, the door is either standing open or was shut without catching the latch. This comes from the Electrolux owner support guide for dishwashers sold in the US.
Steps for the owner
Shut the door and make sure the latch catches.
Once the latch has caught, the code switches itself off.
When the door will not close at all, contact service so the dishwasher can be checked and repaired.
If another code is showing
Er01 is the leak detector reporting water under the tub.
Er08 is a touch switch on the user interface found bad or shorted.
Er09 is a communication failure between the main user board and the power supply.
Dishwasher repair in San Francisco
A door that refuses to latch can be looked at through our San Francisco team, (415) 449-0036, which covers the Bay Area; read about Electrolux dishwasher repair first if you like. Mention the code, the model number and whether the door closes at all.
Model compatibility: Electrolux reuses codes across series and model years, so CL, Cd may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
