Electrolux Refrigerator DI SP Error Code

VERIFIED

Error code DI SP / DISP
Appliance Refrigerator

What triggers DI SP

The refrigerator sounds a tone and displays DI SP (DISP) when an ice cube has stayed lodged in the dispenser chute longer than it should.

Clearing it, in order

  1. Inspect the dispenser and take out any jammed cubes.
  2. If the message remains, remove the ice bin and let the ice thaw, then empty the bin.
  3. Clean the bin and dry it completely.
  4. Return it to its correct position.
  5. After new ice has been made, the dispenser is meant to work normally again.

If the jam repeats

The guide sends owners of a refrigerator in its first 30 days after installation to the installer. After that period, contact Electrolux and schedule service.
