Electrolux Cooktop 39 Error Code

VERIFIED

Error code 39
Appliance Cooktop

Why 39 appears

The control and the housing no longer agree on configuration. According to the manual, the cause is that one of the 2 housings was replaced. The entry is for the ESEC-UIB cooktop in the 30-inch ceramic glass induction form.

Manual steps in order

  1. Remove power, wait 30 seconds, then put power back.
  2. Should 39 return, make sure the good ESEC-UIB is the one fitted in the cooktop.
  3. To clear the error: press and hold WARM, then press ON for the right front zone until it beeps. With WARM still held, release the right front ON key and press ON for the left front zone until it beeps, at which point the configuration starts.
  4. If the code returns once more, the Filter Circuit Board gets replaced, and a technician does that.
