A narrow unit in a small kitchen

A different cabinet depth or a shorter hose changes how the unit sits and how water behaves. Share any install records you have and tell us if the dishwasher has been moved.

Loading a small tub

A compact tub fills quickly with a few large pots, which then block the spray arm. Try a lighter load and listen for the spray arm turning. A blocked arm can look like a fill or wash fault when the real cause is simply the way the rack is packed.

Also leave the door fully closed for a minute after starting, since an early reopening can interrupt the fill and leave the cycle waiting.
